CUMBERLAND COUNTY, PA – As a result of a human trafficking initiative in June 2022, six men were arrested for attempting to patronize prostitutes.

This week, a trial was held for one of these men, Bhola Adhikari, 39, of Harrisburg.

Adhikari was found guilty of patronizing prostitutes, and sentencing is due to be scheduled at a later date before Judge Brewbaker.

District Attorney Seán M. McCormack commented after the verdict, underscoring that prostitution is a form of human trafficking.

He vowed to continue enforcing the law against those patronizing prostitutes, as they contribute to the demand and financing of human trafficking.
