BUFFALO, NY – Erie County District Attorney announced that Raquan R. Reid, 27, pleaded guilty to first-degree manslaughter on Monday.

This admission comes after Reid, a known member of the Central Park Gang, assisted in a fatal shooting on Main Street near Glenwood Avenue in Buffalo.

The incident occurred on October 20, 2020, around 3:58 pm. Two unidentified men shot 33-year-old Winston Reese multiple times at a gas station.

Reese succumbed to his injuries. The shooters have since passed away, but Reid, who drove the pair from the crime scene, was apprehended.

Reid, who continues to be held without bail, is slated to be sentenced on Wednesday, September 6, at 10:30 am. He could face up to 25 years in prison.
