Respected Community Volunteer Remembered in Fair Lawn

FAIR LAWN, NJ – The Fair Lawn Police Department has announced the passing of Marie Gajarsky. Marie was a dedicated and compassionate individual who was deeply involved in community service.

Marie was a devoted supporter of the Officer Mary Ann Collura foundation, always advocating for giving back to the community. She also played a significant role in the PBA (Police Benevolent Association), ensuring retired members were well-informed.

Known for her warm smile and respected by all, Marie’s generosity was profound, yet humble, as she preferred to remain anonymous in her charitable actions. Through her good deeds, she positively impacted and transformed the lives of many. Additionally, she was an active member of the Rochelle Park American Legion Auxiliary post #170.

The Fair Lawn community is encouraged to cherish the memory of Marie, as individuals like her are truly rare and leave a lasting impact on those they touch.

Funeral arrangements for Marie Gajarsky will be held at Vanderplatt Colonial Home on Sunday from 2 to 6 PM, with a service at 5 PM. Comittal will take place on Monday. Attendees are requested to gather at the Funeral Home at 10 AM, with the procession to the cemetery beginning at 10:30 AM.
