Pittsburgh International Airport

PITTSBURGH, PA – On early Friday morning, officers from the Allegheny County Police Department were alerted to a planned gathering involving dozens of high-end performance vehicles at Pittsburgh International Airport.

Upon arrival, several vehicles began performing burnouts. During the investigation, officers identified Dashawn Evans, 41, of Trafford, PA, as the driver of a car with heavily tinted license plates and altered brake lights.

It was determined that Evans had a suspended driver’s license and an active warrant for his arrest.

A stolen Pennsylvania registration plate was also discovered inside Evans’ vehicle.

Evans faces charges of receiving stolen property and several traffic citations. He was arraigned Friday and released on nonmonetary bail.
