Moped Bandits Wanted for Multiple NYC Robberies

NEW YORK, NY – The New York City Police Department has reported a series of robbery incidents involving two unknown individuals on a moped.

In the first incident on Wednesday, July 5, at approximately 6:45 pm, a 27-year-old woman was approached by the moped riders on Pleasant Avenue and East 116 Street. One of the riders attempted to snatch her cellphone but ended up taking her keys.

On Friday, July 7, at around 11:00 am, a 40-year-old woman was approached by the same individuals on Park Avenue and East 149 Street. This time, one of the riders displayed a knife and took the woman’s cellphone.

Later that day, at approximately 3:35 pm, a 53-year-old woman had her cellphone forcibly taken by the individuals on Broadway and West 125 Street.

In all three incidents, the victims were unharmed, and the individuals fled the scene on their moped.
