PARSIPPANY, NJ – Several commercial businesses along the Route 46 corridor in Parsippany were victim to burglary during the overnight hours.

In response to these events, the Parsippany Police Department urges all businesses to enable their alarm systems.

If these alarms are not monitored by an alarm company, the Police Department advises immediate notification upon activation. Valuables, including cash, should be securely stored in a safe when the businesses are closed.

Though businesses were targeted in these recent incidents, all Parsippany residents are encouraged to remain vigilant and proactive in ensuring the security of their homes, belongings, and vehicles to avoid becoming easy targets for criminals.

Residents are asked to contact the Police Department immediately upon noticing any unusual or suspicious behavior.
