Argument in Annapolis Ends in Gunfire

ANNAPOLIS, MD – On Wednesday, around 3:30 p.m., officers rushed to the 500 block of Defense Highway in Annapolis in response to an assault.

The investigation found that Andrew Frye, a 33-year-old Annapolis resident, had engaged in a verbal altercation with an adult victim.

The altercation escalated when Frye retrieved a handgun, pointed it at the victim, and fired four rounds into the ground. The victim was not physically injured in the shooting.

Frye has since been apprehended and charged accordingly for first-degree assault.

Further inquiries into the incident are ongoing.
