D.C. Man Killed in Fairmont Heights

PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY, MD – The Prince George’s County Police Department’s Homicide Unit is examining a fatal shooting that occurred last Wednesday.

The deceased has been identified as 29-year-old Kre’sean Hoover-Haskins of Washington, DC.

Police arrived on the scene at Fairmount Heights Drive around 4:50 pm, finding Hoover-Haskins suffering from gunshot wounds. He later died in a local hospital. Detectives are currently attempting to ascertain a motive and identify any suspects.

Anyone with potentially useful information on the case is asked to contact the Homicide Unit.

There is a reward of up to $25,000 for information leading to an arrest and indictment in this case.
