Juveniles Arrested After Reported Shooting in Allentown

ALLENTOWN, PA – Last Thursday, an Allentown police officer on patrol responded to gunshots near 12th and Gordon Street.

The officer interacted with three juvenile males, one of whom fled, prompting a chase that ended in arrest.

During the arrest, a loaded firearm was found on the running juvenile. A second juvenile was also detained after he failed to disperse and assaulted an officer.

Charges against these two juveniles range from carrying firearms without a license, resisting arrest, to assault.

Allentown Police Captain Kyle Pammer reiterates that these are merely charges, and the accused are innocent until proven guilty.
