70-Year-Old Victim of Mail Fraud

NEW YORK CITY, NY – The New York City Police Department is requesting the public’s help in identifying an individual in relation to a grand larceny.

The victim, a 70-year-old male, reported to the police that he did not receive insurance checks sent to his residence.

The checks had been cashed by an unknown male individual.

The suspect first deposited a stolen check for $6,370 into his account at a Capital One ATM located at 211 Dyckman Street, on Friday, June 16.

Then, on Monday, June 26, the individual deposited another stolen check for $35,894 into his account at a Capital One ATM located at 610 West 181st Street.
