Child Shot, Rushed to Hospital in Columbus

COLUMBUS, OH – A child was transported to Nationwide Children’s Hospital on Saturday afternoon after suffering a gunshot wound.

The Columbus Police Department confirmed the incident but was unable to provide information on the location of the incident or the current condition of the child.

The child was brought to the hospital shortly after 4 p.m.

 One person has been detained at the hospital in relation to the incident.

Further details are yet to be released, including the identity of the detained individual and any charges they may face.
