NYPD Seeks Public’s Help in 2020 Murder Case

NEW YORK CITY, NY – The New York City Police Department (NYPD) is renewing their request for public assistance to locate Darlin Martinez, a 26-year-old man, in connection with a homicide that took place on Thursday, January 23, 2020.

The incident occurred at 606 West 135th Street around 1:58 PM. Upon responding to a 911 call reporting shots fired, officers found an unconscious 27-year-old man, identified as Christopher Allen, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

Allen was transported to Columbia Presbyterian Hospital by EMS, where he was later pronounced dead. Two other men were found at the scene with gunshot wounds and are currently in stable condition at Mt. Sinai St. Luke’s Hospital.

Martinez, who is known to frequent the area, is described as approximately 6’0″ tall and 200 lbs.
