One Injured in Lakewood Fire

LAKEWOOD, NJ – One person was injured and seven people were displaced from their home after an overnight fire damaged a home in Lakewood.

The fire was reported at 19 Columbus Avenue at around 11 pm Sunday night.

Lakewood Police Department spokesperson Captain Greg Staffordsmith confirmed the incident early this morning.

The fire appeared to start at the rear of the home, but quickly grew to fully consume the structure.

No further details have been provided.
