Philadelphia Police Searching for 15-Year-Old Fugitive in Connection to Murder

PHILADELPHIA, PA – The Philadelphia Police Department’s Homicide Unit is seeking the public’s assistance in locating Rasheed Banks Jr., a 15-year-old black male, in relation to a homicide case.

The incident, which took place on Wednesday, July 12, involved the shooting of a 50-year-old man during an apparent car-jacking attempt on the 1100 block of Porter Street.

Banks, who is considered armed and dangerous, is wanted as part of the ongoing investigation. There is an active arrest warrant for Banks in connection with this case.

The city of Philadelphia is offering a reward of $20,000 leading to an arrest and conviction in this homicide case.

The suspects, three black males, were seen operating a red Kia Soul with an unknown New Jersey license plate at the time of the incident.
