Man Shot on Market Street Expected to Survive

HARRISBURG, PA – Early Sunday, the Harrisburg Police were called to the 1200 block of Market Street after receiving reports of shots fired.

On arriving at the scene around 12:15 am, they found an adult male with gunshot wounds.

The man’s injuries, while serious, were deemed non-life-threatening, and he was transported to a local hospital for emergency treatment. The nature of the incident that led to the shooting remains unclear.

The Harrisburg Police have since launched an investigation into the shooting. The case is ongoing and no further details about potential suspects or circumstances leading up to the shooting have been released.
