Teen Killed in Deadly Crash in Lanham

LANHAM, MD – A fatal single-vehicle collision that claimed the life of 17-year-old Jason Peraza of Lanham is under investigation by the Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Unit.

The incident occurred on the morning of Friday, on the 9100 block of Ardwick Ardmore Road.

Initial investigations suggest Peraza was traveling eastbound when he lost control of his vehicle, resulting in a collision with a utility pole.

Peraza was pronounced dead at the scene. A passenger in the vehicle was severely injured during the crash.

Investigators are requesting anyone with relevant information to contact the Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Unit at 301-731-4422.
