Deadly Shooting Reported in Harrisburg

HARRISBURG, PA – Late Monday night, Harrisburg Police were alerted to a shooting incident around South 20th and Zarker Streets.

Simultaneously, the department was notified that a gunshot victim had been transported to the 2400 block of Market Street, where first responders from another jurisdiction were already on scene.

Upon arriving, the police found an adult male who had been shot. The victim was declared deceased at the scene. The Harrisburg Police initiated an investigation into the shooting, which is still ongoing.

The Harrisburg Police are asking anyone with information about this or any recent shootings to come forward by contacting the department at 717-558-6900.
