Man Assaulted, Loses Teeth in Unprovoked Upper West Side Attack

FDNY Ambulance on scene to provide medical assistance to victims.

NEW YORK, NY – The New York City Police Department is requesting public assistance to identify an individual involved in an assault.

The incident occurred on Sunday, July 2, around 5:30 am near Broadway and 76 Street.

The victim, a 42-year-old male, was reportedly punched in the face by an unknown individual after an altercation.

The impact caused the victim to fall to the ground and resulted in the loss of teeth. He sought medical treatment at a local hospital.

The suspect is described as a male with a light complexion, partially bald, of heavy build, last seen wearing a white shirt. The individual fled the scene in an unknown direction. Anyone with information about the suspect or the incident is asked to contact the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
