North Plainfield Police Investigate String of Residential Burglaries

NORTH PLAINFIELD, NJ – The North Plainfield Police Department has been actively investigating a recent series of residential burglaries.

These incidents have reportedly been taking place during the early morning hours, between 1:00 AM and 3:00 AM.

The suspects are believed to be teenage males who have been trespassing into occupied dwellings. On being discovered by the homeowners, the suspects reportedly flee the scene.

Residents are being advised to ensure all doors and lower-level windows are secured and locked.

The North Plainfield Police Department asks that any suspicious activity be reported to police dispatch at 908-769-2937, and to avoid confronting the suspects.
