NYPD Continues Investigation of Assault of Elderly Woman

NEW YORK CITY, NY – The New York City Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying two individuals involved in an assault incident.

This incident took place on Tuesday, June 27, at approximately 12:35 pm.

The victims, a 73-year-old woman and a 51-year-old woman, were walking together at the corner of Rogers Avenue and Martense Street when they were involved in a verbal dispute with two unknown individuals, a man and a woman.

The male individual assaulted the 51-year-old woman, while the female individual struck the 73-year-old woman. Both individuals then fled the scene. The victims, who sustained minor injuries, were taken to NYC Health & Hospitals/Kings County and are in stable condition.

The New York City Police Department is asking anyone with information on this case to reach out to them.
