Female Subway Rider Attacked and Robbed on Q Train

NEW YORK CITY, NY – The New York City Police Department is asking for public aid in locating an individual connected to a robbery case that took place at the 72nd Street/2 Ave subway station.

On Friday, June 16, at approximately 9:10 am, a 28-year-old woman was exiting a northbound ‘Q’ train when she was accosted.

An unidentified individual reportedly shoved her and forcibly removed her cellphone. The suspect quickly fled from the subway station in an unknown direction.

No injuries were reported in this incident.
