Jehova’s Witness Sexually Assaulted Two Children

HARRISBURG, PA – Jesse Hill, previously of Berks County and currently residing in Georgia, admitted to the charges of sexual assault and exploitation of two minors on Tuesday.

The victims were members of the Jehovah’s Witnesses community Hill belonged to in the 1990s.

Attorney General Michelle Henry revealed that Hill, 52, pleaded guilty to two counts of rape, first-degree felonies, in Berks County Court.

Sentencing was postponed pending an evaluation by the Sexual Offenders Assessment Board, which will determine if Hill meets the criteria for a sexually violent predator. The Attorney General’s Office has charged 14 men since 2022 who reportedly assaulted children while they were members of Jehovah’s Witnesses congregations across the state.

Those who are victims or family members with information are asked to contact the Office of Attorney General’s hotline at 888-538-8541.
