Police Find Fentanyl While Arresting Fugitive Wanted for False Imprisonment

CUMBERLAND, MD – On Tuesday, Cumberland Police arrested Thomas Deandre Gastron Eggleston, a 28-year-old resident of Bowie, MD.

The arrest was made after discovering he was wanted on charges of assault and false imprisonment in Somerset County, PA.

At the time of his arrest, Eggleston was found in possession of suspected fentanyl, leading to an additional charge of drug possession-not marijuana.

After his initial appearance before the District Court Commissioner, Eggleston was remanded to the Allegany County Detention Center without bond.

Eggleston now awaits extradition to Pennsylvania.
