Frederick Man Targeted Churches in Burglary Spree

FREDERICK COUNTY, MD – Vittorio Lane, a 36-year-old man from Sykesville, is now under custody for a series of church burglaries that swept across Frederick County.

Lane is suspected of targeting seven churches in the county.

He committed these acts between May 25, and July 4.

Officer G. Smith, Crime Analyst Cobleigh, and FCSO Detective Stears were instrumental in solving the case.

 Through teamwork with FCSO and MSP, the FCSO detectives were able to apprehend Lane on Tuesday.
