Man Charged for Pulling Gun on Juvenile in Upper Chichester

UPPER CHICHESTER, PA – Craig Devakow was arrested by the Upper Chichester Township Police Department on Wednesday.

This arrest followed a warrant issued on July 17. The charges stem from an incident on July 15, where Devakow allegedly assaulted a juvenile.

The juvenile reported being choked by Devakow, who brandished a “shiny black” handgun during the assault. The victim was able to escape when the assault was interrupted by an unidentified person.

The Upper Chichester Police are holding an arrest warrant for Devakow, charged with multiple counts of aggravated assault, strangulation, simple assault, recklessly endangering another person, terroristic threats, possession of instruments of crime, and prohibited possession of a firearm.

Members of the public who have information on Devakow’s whereabouts are asked to contact 911 or submit a tip through Crimewatch.
