Police Search For Suspect Involved in Brutal Pole Assault in D.C.

WASHINGTON, D.C – Assistance is being sought from the public by the detectives of the Washington, D.C. Metro Police Department to identify a suspect captured on camera that was involved in a pole assault incident that occurred in Northeast, D.C. on July 20th.

The incident occurred at the 300 block of Galloway Street shortly after 10 pm. An altercation took place involving the suspect and two victims. The suspect proceeded to use a pole to attack the victims before fleeing from the location. DC Fire and Emergency Medical Services were alerted and promptly arrived at the scene. They provided immediate medical assistance and transported one of the victims to an area hospital for treatment, as the injuries were assessed to be non-life-threatening.
