Scooter Bandit Robs NYC Woman at Knifepoint

NEW YORK CITY, NY – The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying an individual connected to a robbery incident that occurred on Friday, July 21.

At around 5:45 pm, a 54-year-old female was assaulted in front of 2471 Morris Avenue.

An unknown individual, who was on a motorized scooter, displayed a knife and forcibly removed a chain from the victim’s neck.

The suspect then fled on a white scooter heading westbound on Fordham Road. The victim refused medical attention at the scene.

The New York City Police Department is appealing to the public for any information regarding the suspect or the incident.
