Teens Escape Attempted Robbery Inside NYC Subway Station

NEW YORK CITY, NY – The New York City Police Department is requesting assistance from the public in identifying three individuals involved in an attempted robbery.

The incident took place on Sunday, June 11, at approximately 3:50 pm at the 6th Avenue subway station.

Two victims, a 17-year-old girl and an 18-year-old boy, were attacked by the trio as they exited the subway station’s mezzanine. Despite the assailants’ attempts to seize the victims’ property, they were unsuccessful.

The suspects fled the station immediately after the altercation. Both victims declined medical treatment at the scene.
