Three Arrested After Family Dispute Turned Deadly at Oxon Hill Hotel

PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY, MD – Prince George’s County Police Department arrested three suspects in connection with a fatal shooting at a hotel on last Saturday.

The suspects, all from Philadelphia, PA, include 18-year-old Ade Boggs, 28-year-old Te Shear Baxter, and 32-year-old Tequoia Baxter.

The victim, 37-year-old Demetric Martin of Oxon Hill, was found outside the hotel with gunshot wounds and pronounced dead at the hospital a short time later.

The shooting, which happened around 5:30 pm at 55 Hampton Park Boulevard in Capitol Heights, stemmed from a dispute between a family member of the victim and the suspects.

Boggs was arrested in Philadelphia with assistance from the U.S. Marshals Service and the Philadelphia Police Department’s Homicide Unit. He, along with Te Shear Baxter and Tequoia Baxter, face charges of first-degree murder and related charges.
