PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY, MD – A fatal collision that claimed the life of 64-year-old Landover resident, Kerris Jennings, is under investigation by the Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Unit of the Prince George’s County Police Department.

The incident occurred on Wednesday afternoon.

That day, at around 12:30 pm, officers were dispatched to the Landover Road and Fire House Road junction following reports of a multi-vehicle collision. Officers found Jennings unresponsive in her car. She was later pronounced dead at the hospital.

Preliminary findings suggest the five drivers involved were moving northbound on Landover Road towards a red light. The victim’s car was rear-ended triggering a series of collisions.

The other four drivers and passengers sustained minor injuries. The Department is seeking any additional information related to this case.
