Bus Driver Violently Attacked over Fare

COLUMBUS, OH – Detectives have released video footage of an individual suspected of attacking a Central Ohio Transit Authority (COTA) bus driver over a fare dispute.

The incident took place on July 3, while the bus was stopped in the area of Cleveland Ave. and Jack Gibbs Blvd.

The suspect in the video can be seen entering the bus and heading towards the back without paying the fare.

When confronted by the COTA employee about the unpaid fare, the man assaulted the driver, punching him in the face.
