LANCASTER COUNTY, PA – A man from East Orange, New Jersey, was convicted on Friday of two counts of aggravated assault, one count of simple assault, and one count of criminal mischief.

Aiven Rosario, 26, was found guilty on all charges following a three-day trial.

The charges stem from an incident on March 6, 2021, when Rosario followed another vehicle into a parking lot on Millport Road. Following an argument over road behavior, Rosario smashed the victim’s car window and struck her with a golf club.

The victim was found by West Lampeter Township Police sitting in her vehicle with a lump on her head and complaining of severe pain. She was later diagnosed with a concussion, a mild form of traumatic brain injury, and post-concussion syndrome.

Evidence from the scene included the broken golf club and the victim’s frantic 911 call. A dashcam video from the responding police vehicle was also shown to the jury. After deliberation, the jury returned with a guilty verdict. Rosario was remanded to custody in lieu of $500,000 cash bail and is awaiting sentencing.
