Teen Captured in Porsche Reported Stolen from Wawa

MANAHAWKIN, NJ – On Thursday, July 13, the Stafford Township Police Department received a report of a motor vehicle theft from the Wawa gas station located at 320 Rt. 72 E. in Manahawkin.

The stolen vehicle, a 2021 Porsche Macan S, had been left at the gas pumps while the owner was inside the store.

The stolen vehicle was located in Pleasantville, NJ on Tuesday. Investigations led to the issuance of warrants for a 17-year-old male juvenile suspect from Pleasantville, charged with 3rd degree Theft of Moveable Property.

Another male juvenile from Pleasantville was issued a warrant for 3rd degree Receiving Stolen Property. The juveniles have not yet been apprehended.

The Stafford Township Police Department reminds the public that all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. They urge anyone with more information to contact them.
