Two Arrested in Secaucus Drug Bust,

SECAUCUS, NJ – On the evening of Thursday, the Secaucus Police Anti-Crime Unit observed a suspected drug deal near the Red Roof Inn on Meadowlands Parkway.

Their suspicions led to the arrest of Dylan Matus, 24, from Maywood, who was found with ten suspected Oxycodone 15mg pills.

Further investigation allowed the Anti-Crime Unit to identify the individual who sold the pills to Matus.

This led to the arrest of Anthony Cuccia, 26, from Ridgefield. He was found with suspected cocaine at the time of his arrest.

A search of Cuccia’s room at the Red Roof Inn led to the seizure of additional suspected drugs, over $1,400 in cash, and other evidence indicative of illicit drug distribution. A stolen 9mm handgun and a magazine loaded with hollow point ammunition were also discovered.
