Elderly Man Attacked and Beaten in Brooklyn

BROOKLYN, NY – The NYPD is seeking public assistance in identifying an individual connected to an assault on an 81-year-old male.

The incident occurred last Thursday, at approximately 3:25 pm, in front of 1217 Foster Avenue.

The victim was sitting on a bench when the unknown individual approached and repeatedly punched him in the head before fleeing. The victim was transported to Maimonides Medical Center for treatment.

The suspect is described as a male with a medium complexion, approximately 5’10” tall and around 200 pounds. He has short black hair, wears glasses, and was last seen in a blue long-sleeved shirt, dark shorts, and black and white sneakers. The suspect’s vehicle is a black 2021 BMW X6 four-door SUV with California registration 8TFN436.

The NYPD asked anyone with information about the suspect or the incident to come forward.
