Elderly Woman Robbed While Loading Groceries

NEW YORK CITY, NY – The New York City Police Department is asking the public for help in identifying the individual responsible for an assault and robbery.

The incident happened on Friday, around 10:14 am.

An unknown male reportedly approached an 81-year-old woman as she was loading groceries into her car at 46-02 Greenpoint Avenue.

The perpetrator allegedly reached into the vehicle, removing the woman’s belongings. Despite her attempts to retain her property, the suspect managed to flee south on 46th Street.

The victim received on-site treatment for minor injuries.
