Man Shot in Head, Killed on Richmond Terrace

FDNY Ambulance on scene to provide medical assistance to victims.

NEW YORK CITY, NY – A 37-year-old male fell victim to a fatal shooting outside 772 Richmond Terrace on Saturday.

The NYPD responded to the distress call at approximately 4:29 am, finding the man suffering from a gunshot wound to the head.

Emergency Medical Services transported the victim to Richmond University Medical Center, where he was subsequently pronounced dead. Currently, there have been no arrests and the police department’s investigation continues.

The identification of the deceased is being withheld until the next of kin can be properly notified.

The NYPD asks anyone with information pertinent to this incident to come forward and assist with the ongoing investigation.
