D.C. Shooting Leaves Man Dead

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Washington, D.C. Metro Police Department is investigating a shooting that took place yesterday afternoon in Northeast D.C.

Just before 5 pm, officers arrived at the 13th Block of 13th Place to investigate a reported shooting. At the scene, police found a male shooting victim. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Due to the ongoing police investigation into the shooting, the intersection of 13th Place and Downing Stree was temporarily closed to traffic. Police have not released the identity of the victim at this time.
