D.C. Shooting Leaves Two Dead

WASHINGTON, D.C. – An investigation is underway by the Washington, D.C. Metro Police Department into a shooting that happened in Southeast D.C. late Friday morning that left two men dead.

Just before noon, officers were dispatched to the 4200 block of 6th Street following reports of a shooting. When they arrived, they discovered two adult males who had been shot. One of the victims was pronounced dead at the scene. The second victim was immediately transported to a nearby hospital for medical attention. Despite all attempts to save him, the victim died at the hospital.

56-year-old Charles Luster Jr, and 20-year-old Tyjon Clayton, both of D.C., are identified as the decedents.
