STATEN ISLAND, NY – Rashiem Flanders, a 37-year-old resident of 51 Hill Street in Staten Island, was fatally shot outside 772 Richmond Terrace early Saturday morning.
The New York City Police Department responded to a 911 call at around 4:29 am.
Upon arrival, officers discovered Flanders suffering from a gunshot wound to the head.
Emergency Medical Services arrived at the scene and transported the victim to Richmond University Medical Center, where he was later pronounced dead.
As of now, no arrests have been made in connection to the shooting. The investigation remains ongoing, and updates will be provided as more details emerge.
