Two Stabbed in Vineland; Woman Killed

VINELAND, NJ – A homicide investigation is underway following a stabbing incident that occurred last Friday in the city of Vineland.

Members of the Vineland Police Department responded to a call at approximately 1:46 am on the 600 block of Ridgewood Avenue.

Upon arrival, officers found two victims, Sharon Taylor, age 60, and James Taylor, age 51, at their residence suffering from apparent stab wounds.

Sharon Taylor was pronounced dead at the scene. James Taylor was airlifted to Cooper Hospital, where he is listed in critical condition.

The Cumberland County Prosecutor’s Office and the Vineland Police Department are jointly investigating the incident. The public is being asked to contact Detective C. Fixler of the Vineland Police Department or Detective P. Panchesine of the Cumberland County Prosecutor’s Office with any pertinent information.
