Woman Charged for Illegally Staying in Hotel Room

CUMBERLAND, MD – On Saturday, Cumberland Police responded to a trespassing report at the Sleep Inn on Ali Ghan Rd.

Officers found Cheryl Lisa Murray, 54, occupying a room without paying for it.

Despite being asked to leave by the hotel staff and police officers, Murray refused to comply.

Consequently, she was arrested and issued a criminal citation for trespassing.

She is awaiting trial in District Court.
