The incident occurred on last Saturday, when at approximately 11:20 PM, a 39-year-old man was on a southbound ‘Q’ train. As the train neared the Church Avenue subway station, the man engaged in a verbal dispute with two unknown individuals.

The dispute escalated, and the pair reportedly assaulted the victim, striking him multiple times on his face and body. One of the individuals is then believed to have displayed a sharp object and stabbed the victim twice in the abdomen.

The suspects left the train at Church Avenue station and fled in an unknown direction. Emergency services responded and transported the victim to NYC Health and Hospitals/Kings County in stable condition.
