NEW YORK, NY – Police are investigating a homicide in Brooklyn after finding a man with a single gunshot wound to his head.
Police responded to a 911 call reporting an assault in progress early Tuesday morning at around 3:37 AM at 309 MacDougal Street.
Upon arrival, officers found a 25-year-old male victim with a gunshot wound to the head. E
mergency Medical Services transported the victim to Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center, where he was later pronounced dead.
Currently, no arrests have been made in connection with the incident, and the investigation is ongoing.
The identity of the deceased is being withheld until family members are notified.
