Man Survives Shooting in Neck Outside Bronx Business

FDNY Ambulance on scene to provide medical assistance to victims.

NEW YORK CITY, NY – The New York City Police Department is seeking the public’s help in identifying the individual responsible for an assault incident that took place on last Thursday.

At about 10:40 PM, an unknown individual reportedly displayed a firearm and shot a 38-year-old male outside 1740 Lafayette Avenue, striking him in the neck.

The suspect fled in an unidentified direction.

The victim was taken to Jacobi Hospital, where he remains in stable condition.

The New York City Police Department is making efforts to locate the perpetrator and requests anyone with valuable information related to this incident to come forward.
