Armed Robber Leaps Over Counter Threatens Worker at Subway

LAUREL, MD – Western District officers reported An armed robbery at a Subway in Laurel last Monday, around 8:00 pm.

According to initial findings, an individual, a male suspect between 20-30 years of age, walked into the Subway located at 3481 Laurel Ft. Meade Road, made an order, then took a drastic turn of action.

The suspect leaped over the counter and brandished a handgun. He threatened the Subway employee and took cash from the register. Witnesses mentioned the suspect then departed from the scene on foot, possibly heading south along Laurel Ft. Meade Road.

The suspect is identified as a black male, wearing a white t-shirt, black jeans, navy baseball hat, white shoes, and a white medical-style mask.
