BRONX, NY – Antonio Robinson, a 56-year-old Bronx resident, has been sentenced to 25 years to life in prison for the fatal shootings of his wife and stepson.

The sentence was passed by Bronx Supreme Court Justice Jeanette Rodriguez-Morick.

According to the investigation, on October 1, 2016, Robinson entered his stepson’s room, where the 27-year-old Tyrone Bell was watching television, and shot him twice in the face.

Robinson then proceeded to another bedroom where his wife, Sharon Epps, 50, was resting and shot her multiple times.

Following the shootings, Robinson attempted to conceal his actions by releasing gas from the stove burners in the apartment. Robinson was found guilty of first-degree murder for killing more than one person in a single act on November 1, 2022.
