Fatal Shooting In Northwest D.C.Leaves 23-Year-Old Dead

WASHINGTON, D.C. – A 23-year-old man was tragically shot and killed in Northwest Washington in the early hours of Tuesday, police say.

A report of a shooting led officers to respond to the 3100 block of 16th Street shortly after 1 am. Once they arrived, they found a person who had been shot. Despite the immediate life-saving measures taken, the victim could not be saved and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The deceased individual has been identified as Diallo Wright, a 23-year-old resident of Northwest, DC.
