Man Breaks Into Business, Robs ATM, Cash Boxes

CROFTON, MD – A break-in was reported at the 7-Eleven at 2129 Defense Highway, Crofton on Sunday, around 3:30 a.m. Officers were alerted by a hold-up alarm triggered at the store.

Investigation by the Western District revealed two male suspects dressed entirely in black breached the store through the front door, which was locked at the time.

The store employee, observing this on the surveillance monitor from the back room, contacted the police.

The suspects managed to open the ATM, extract several cash boxes, and escape in a gray Dodge Durango.
