Robbery Suspect Apprehended in Bensalem

BENSALEM, PA – On Monday, Bensalem Police responded to a reported robbery in the parking lot of Kohl’s Department Store on Street Road.

The victim, Klever Cajamarca, had been withdrawing money from the Bank of America ATM on Street Road when he was accosted and robbed by an individual who had been standing behind him in line.

The suspect, now identified as 42-year-old Antwan Clayton Jones from Ellenville, NY, allegedly brandished a firearm, demanded Cajamarca’s money, and subsequently fled the scene in a gray Nissan Altima. Jones was later located and arrested without incident by Bensalem Police, who also seized the vehicle.

Upon searching the vehicle, officers found clothing matching the robbery suspect’s description, marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and a loaded .22 caliber semi-automatic handgun with the hammer cocked and the safety off.

Jones, who lacks a permit to carry a concealed weapon, now faces charges of Robbery, Terroristic Threats, and related offenses.
